REPAIR SERVICES
The Repair services available at our
workshop include the following:
Complete Overhaul
Includes the replacement of all pads, necessary
springs replacement and adjustment of all
screws. The mechanic is adjusted and refitted,
all the keys are polished and some of them, if
necessary, are silver-plated (not included in
the standard service). The body is cleaned and
gently oiled. New key oil is added and tenon
corks changed. The entire instrument is adjusted
and tested.
EURO 650.00
General Service
Includes replacement of some pads, some springs
and screws if necessary. Minor cracks are
repaired (installing inserts not included). The
mechanic is adjusted and keys are polished by
hand. The body is cleaned and gently oiled. New
key oil is added and tenon corks changed. The
entire instrument is adjusted and tested.
EURO 400.00
Annual Cleaning
Body and keys are cleaned. Attention is given to
some minor mechanical problems and some key cork
changed if necessary. New key oil is added. The
entire instrument is adjusted and tested.
EURO 100.00
Crack Pinning
This is a good way to prevent reopening of the
already existing cracks. Recommended for major
cracks combined with installation of inserts.
German-silver (Nickel) pin of 0.2mm is used.
Installing inserts
Recommended for minor cracks. Wood or ebonite
inserts are used.

Re-silvering of the mechanic
Restoration
For the above Services estimates are given
before work begins, calculated at a rate of
EURO 50.00 an hour.
